DORY BARKER

Built in 1978, by Rayco Shipbuilders and Repair of Bourg, Louisiana (hull #61) as the Margaret C. Barker for Barker Marine Limited of New York, New York.

The tug was eventually acquired by Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company of of Oak Brook, Illinois. Where she was renamed as the Bruce J. Biemeck.

She was later acquired by Barker Marine Limited of New York, New York. Where she was initially retained her name. Although, she was later renamed as the Dory Barker.

In 2008, Barker Marine Limited was acquired by Buchanan Marine of New Haven, Connecticut. Where she initially retained her name. However, she was later renamed as the Buchanan 15.

She is a twin screw tug rated at 1,600 horsepower.

In 2013, the tug was acquired by Coastal Gulf and Marine Transport of Syossett, New York. Where she was renamed as the Dory.
