This is an entry level position with an excellent opportunity for growth both in this position and with Carver Companies.
As an Administrative Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office team. You will support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication. You will communicate via phone, fax and email ensuring that all administrative assistant duties are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Responsibilities include but not limited to
Answer and direct phone calls
Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
Assist in the preparation of reports, booklets
Maintain filing system
Provide general clerical support to accounting staff
Other duties as assigned
Proven admin assistant experience
Prior experience is accounting a plus
Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work
Attention to detail and problem solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office
